A flat-rate, fully-briefed pedicab proposal in Central Park. Three packages, no surprises, free cancellation 24 hours out.

Why couples book proposal rides with Grinlo
We do not do generic park tours dressed up as proposals. Every booking is pre-assigned, briefed in writing, and prepped with a backup plan.
Fixed price, no surprises
What you see is what you pay. No per-minute meters, no tour-upgrade upsells halfway through, no surge pricing.
Driver briefed before you arrive
We share your plan with the driver the night before — your spot, timing, signal for when to start photos, where to step away.
Photos covered
Your driver captures the moment on your phone. Bringing a photographer? We will send them the exact GPS pin and timing.
Backup plan ready
Bow Bridge is the most-photographed spot in the park — sometimes a wedding is already there. We will have a second spot prepped.
What it actually looks like
Real Grinlo pedicabs at the spots couples ask for most.

How a Grinlo proposal ride works
- 1
Book your tier and tell us your plan
Pick Classic, Romance, or Ultimate. After checkout we send a short questionnaire — your preferred spot, time, the signal you will give the driver, whether you are bringing a photographer.
- 2
We assign and brief the driver
The night before, you receive your driver's name, photo, phone, and a GPS pin. The driver gets the same brief in writing. No surprises on the day.
- 3
Pickup at Central Park South
We meet you at 59th & 6th — the entrance closest to most hotels. The driver greets you both warmly, no mention of the proposal in front of your partner.
- 4
The ride, the spot, the moment
Pedicab winds through the park building toward your spot. Driver stops, steps away to give you space, and starts photos when you give the signal.
- 5
Celebration loop and exit
After the yes, the ride continues — Strawberry Fields, The Lake, Cherry Hill, depending on your tier. Photos handed back. You are newly engaged.
Proposal pedicab FAQs
How much does a Central Park proposal pedicab cost?
Grinlo offers three flat-rate proposal packages: Classic at $95, Romance at $195, and Ultimate at $295. Each price is for the entire ride — not per person — and includes the private pedicab, the driver brief, the photo stop, and free cancellation up to 24 hours. No tipping pressure, no surprise fees.
Where will the proposal happen?
Most couples choose Bow Bridge — it is the most-photographed proposal spot in the park, with the Manhattan skyline framed behind you. Other popular options are Bethesda Fountain (best early morning for privacy), Shakespeare Garden (quietest), Cherry Hill (skyline views), and the west shore of The Lake. You tell us during booking, and we brief the driver.
What if Bow Bridge is too crowded when we arrive?
We always prep a backup spot. If a wedding shoot, film crew, or large tour group is camped on the bridge when you arrive, your driver will pivot to your second-choice spot without saying anything to break the moment. You are in control — give a small nod, and they will redirect.
Will the driver take photos?
Yes — included in every package. Hand your phone to the driver before the proposal moment, and they will capture from a respectful distance. The Romance and Ultimate tiers include longer photo stops and multiple angles. If you want professional photos, you can bring your own photographer and we will coordinate timing and the GPS pin.
What happens if it rains?
Free reschedule, no questions asked. Pedicabs have weather covers for light rain, and your driver knows the dry spots — Bethesda Terrace's lower arcade is covered and acoustically beautiful. If it is a downpour, we move your booking to the next clear day at no charge.
Do you book a specific pedicab driver in advance?
Yes — proposal bookings are pre-assigned, not pulled from a curbside queue. After you book we send the driver's name, photo, and contact number. They will have your plan in writing the night before so nothing gets lost in translation.
Can we bring our own photographer or videographer?
Absolutely. Tell us at booking and we will send your photographer the exact GPS pin, the approach timing, and a signal protocol so they are ready when the driver stops. The Romance and Ultimate tiers include this coordination.
How far in advance should we book?
Two weeks is comfortable. One week works for weekday rides. Weekends in May, June, September, and October book up fast — proposal volume peaks during those months. The Ultimate tier reserves up to 60 days out for couples who want to lock in a specific golden-hour date.
Do you accept walk-in proposals?
We do not recommend it. The whole value of a planned proposal pedicab is the brief — driver knows the spot, photos are pre-coordinated, the route is timed. Walk-ins lose all of that. If you are already in the park and need a same-day proposal ride, call us at +1 (646) 288-7719 and we will see if we can prep someone in time.
Ready to plan your proposal ride?
Book online in two minutes, or call us and we will walk you through it. We will handle everything from the driver brief to the backup spot.
